LAKE LURE, NC — Shepherd’s Care proudly presents its Memorial Day Festival May 29-31, 2010 across from the beach in beautiful downtown Lake Lure. The festival features arts and crafts, food, and music. People have been coming to this festival for 25 years when it started out as the Dogwood Festival.

The festival provides an outlet for local crafts people to sell their wares, which include a vast range of hand crafted items from pottery, paintings, watercolors, photography, and all kinds of fine arts, to wood carving, needle craft, handmade and antique jewelry, candles, kitchen crafts, handmade musical instruments, clothing, baby blankets, toys, and so much more.
Festival PhotoFood vendors provide sandwiches, barbecue, roast corn, home made ice cream, blooming onions, funnel cakes, peanuts, soft drinks, etc.
