CLAYTON, NC - Located downtown in the charming city of Clayton, North Carolina, you will find Clayton's Annual Harvest & Music Festival, proudly sponsored by the Clayton Area Chamber of Commerce. Join us throughout the week of September 15-19, 2010 for carnival rides, games and lots of yummy food.Saturday, September 18th, will bring new events to the festival, including TWO stages with live music/bands and entertainment all day and into the evening. Other highlights of the festival include an arts and craft vendor show, an antique car show, a fashion show, a hot dog eating contest, a beer tent for the adults, a martial arts exhibition, a dancing exhibition and lots more fun throughout the day. Last year's festival drew over 18,000 people to the downtown area, and vendors tell us that they had a great time with more interest than at many other festivals. Clayton is well known for this festival, and vendors come from as far away as New York and the Midwest to participate.

Food vendors that are members of the Clayton Area Chamber of Commerce are selected first, so there is normally a waiting list to be a food vendor. In addition, more than 175 arts and crafts vendors were on hand last year.
