STUARTS DRAFT, VA - Come celebrate the 7th Annual multi-award winning Sweet Dreams 2010 on July 24, 2010 at Stuarts Draft Park. The event is free to the public including parking. Sweet Dreams is a day of celebrating our community. Local business owners share in the excitement by offering information and products to the community. Food vendors keep the crowd full while they soak in all the live music, games, contests, crafts, sporting events and local community agencies display booths. Kids will enjoy the rock climbing wall, laser tag, crafts, contests and a visit from Hershey Characters. Augusta County is home to several large industries such as Hershey Chocolate of Virginia and McKee, maker of Little Debbie® snack cakes, thus making us the “Sweetest Place in Virginia.”
Festival PhotoThe event has many exciting activities and they include a made from scratch pancake breakfast hosted by the Stuarts Draft Ruritans, an arts and craft show, children's activities including a climbing wall and laser tag, free bingo, bake-off contest that must use Hershey and/or McKee products, a Little Debbie® look-a-like contest, a business/industry softball tournament, 5K Run, horseshoe tournament, corn hole tournament, bubble gum blowing contest, Swiss roll cake eating contest, stage entertainment and, of course, food.
