HILTON HEAD SC — Rick Hubbard celebrates more than a decade of providing positive family entertainment from coast to coast. Rick performs his show, "The Kazoobie Kazoo Show", and gives free kazoos to everyone in the audience. While Rick performs on guitar, banjo, steel drum, and other exotic instruments, kids participate on stage - dancing, singing, shaking maracas or playing inflatable guitars (that Rick gives away). While Rick plays the "Lightning Bolt" guitar,
steel drum and slide whistle he has teachers join him on stage,
and kids have an activity for each song.
Festival PhotoRick has also developed an interactive musical show just for elementary school audiences. “Who Can Do It, I Can!” brings a positive message to kids about getting along with others, taking care of our planet, and feeling good about yourself. He also teaches kids the sign language for the words, "I CAN", and they use the signs when Rick sings songs from his original CD. Teachers, administrators, and students rave about the excitement Rick brings to school. In turn, the school appearances bring many kids to join Rick’s kazoo band at the festival or family concert.

Rick invented the word “kazoobie” to describe his performance. It means “exceptional, fun, involving everyone.” Audience involvement is the key, and no entertainer in America gets more audience members into the show than Rick Hubbard. Rick has formed kazoo bands with as many as 30,000 kazoo players and for the grand finale of the show, everyone in the audience receives a free kazoo. The newly formed kazoo band performs a marching, kazooing, final song. See why Rick is known as "The King of Kazoo." From the main stage to the children's stage, Rick's performance is more than a show - it's an event.
